Heaven and Earth: Review

Olá :)
Hoje trago-vos um review da paleta Heaven and Earth da MUA, que adquiri na Maquillalia por 2.99€ (sim, é verdade, não sonhei :P ).
Esta paleta é constituída por 12 sombras de tons neutros, brilhantes, desde uma cor champanhe até castanho bastante escuro. Ontem fiz um look com esta paleta que gostei, e portanto vou mostrar-vos, explicando o que fiz com os olhos.

Today I'm posting about Heaven and Earth pallette from MUA, that I bought on Maquillalia for 2.99€ (yes, it's really true, I'm not dreaming : ).
This pallette has 12 shadows. They're all neutral shades, sparkly, varying from champaign to a dark brown. I made a look with this pallette yesterday, which I liked, so I will show it to you, explaining my eye makeup.

Falando sobre a maquilhagem que fiz, utilizei esta sombra na pálpebra:

Speaking about the makeup I did, I used this shadow on the lid:

Depois utilizei esta para iluminar o canto interior do olho, prolongando-a um pouco pela pálpebra.

Then, I used this one to iluminate the inner corner of the eye, extending it through the lid.

Desta vez não utilizei sombra no osso da sobrancelha, mas normalmente a que utilizo é esta:

No geral, acho que estas sombras são muito boas, principalmente tendo em conta o quanto custaram. Duraram o dia todo sem "derreterem" na pálpebra, e tendo em conta que não usei primer e tenho as pálpebras um pouco oleosas, é uma grande vitória. É uma paleta que tem as cores básicas para quem gosta de se maquilhar, uma vez que é composta por bastantes tons neutros, que permitem criar looks muito naturais, mas também mais pesados, uma vez que tem uma sombra dourada e bastantes de tons mais escuros. O maior contra que acho nesta paleta, é o material da caixa. Não é muito bom, nem resistente, mas pelo preço que custou, não se pode exigir muito mais. Como conclusão, é uma paleta que voltaria a comprar, uma vez que principalmente no Inverno gosto de pintar os olhos com cores mais neutras.

Overall, I think that this are really good shadows, mainly considering their price. They last all day without "melting" on the lid, and considering I didn't use any primer and I have oily lids, it is a great victory. This is a pallette that has the neutral shades of shadows any makeup passionate should have, and which allow to create really natural looks as well as more heavy looks, since it has a golden shadow and several darker ones. The biggest con of this pallette, it's the box material. It isn't very good or resistant, but you can't ask for much more for this price. Concluding, this is a pallette I would definitely repurchase, since it has more neutral colours, which I love, especially for the Winter season.

Baby Lips: Review

Olá :) 

Hoje venho falar-vos de uma gama de bálsamos labiais que adoro. São eles os Baby Lips, da Maybelline. Já tinha ouvido falar deles há muito tempo, uma vez que costumo ver vídeos de youtubers de beleza americanas, e todas elas falavam super bem dos Baby Lips. Procurei imenso por eles, mas não os achava em lado nenhum, até há cerca de três meses atrás, quando eles apareceram em Portugal. Comprei apenas um na altura, mas depois não consegui resistir e aproveitei uma promoção para comprar mais dois, ficando assim com três, de uma gama de quatro bálsamos.

Today I'm posting about Baby Lips, from Maybelline. For those of you who don't know, they're lip balms. I've heard about this a long time ago, because I usually watch videos from american beaty youtubers, and all of them were telling great things about them. So, I went out and looked for them for a very long time. I couldn't find them anywhere, until three months ago, when they came to Portugal. At that time, I only bought one, but then I couldn't resist and bough two more on sale. Now I have three out of four available.

O primeiro que comprei foi o Pink Punch, que é um rosa Barbie muito fofinho. Deixa um tom rosa muito suave nos lábios e sabe a tutti-frutti (pelo menos é o que me parece :P ). Este custou 2.99€.

The first one I bough was Pink Punch, wich is a Barbie Pink. It looks really soft on the lips and tastes like tutti-frutti (at least I think it does :P ). This one cost 2.99€.

O segundo que comprei foi o Peach Kiss, que é um tom pêssego com alguns brilhos. Este quase não deixa cor nos lábios, mas é o meu preferido no que diz respeito a hidratação dos lábios. Para além disso, sabe a pêssego (como podem ter conseguido imaginar). Comprei-o em promoção por 2.49€.

The second I bought was Peach Kiss, wich has a peachy color with some sparkle in it. This one almost doesn't leave color on your lips, but it's my favourite providing moisture to the lips. Furthermore, it tastes like peach (as you can imagine). I bought it on sale for 2.49€.

Por último, comprei o bálsamo Cherry Me na mesma promoção, por 2.49€. Este tem um tom avermelhado muito leve. Não diria que confere cor vermelha aos lábios, mas sim que realça o seu tom natural. Sabe a cereja, como é bastante óbvio :)

Last, I bough Cherry Me also on sale for 2.49€. This has a really soft red tone. I ouldn't say it gives red colour to your lips, but that it enhances the natural lip colour. It obviously tastes like cherry :)

A minha opinião: Estou completamente apaixonada por estes bálsamos. Adoro a cor que deixam nos lábios, os sabores e também a hidratação que proporcionam. Quando tenho os lábios desidratados, a primeira coisa em que pego é num destes bálsamos. Como ponto negativo, tenho a dizer que por vezes acho que duram pouco tempo nos lábios. A única explicação que encontro é que pelo facto de saberem tão bem, talvez faça com que passe várias vezes a língua pelos lábios, retirando produto. Não sei se isto é verdade, mas vou tentar estar mais atenta.

My opinion: I'm completely in love with this balms. I love the colour they give to the lips, their flavours and the moisture they give. When I have dry lips, the first thing I do is use one of these balms. As negative feature, I must say I think they don't last very long on the lips. The only explanation I find is that maybe because they taste so good, I lick them a lot, removing product several times. I don't know if this is true, but I will pay attention to that.

Olá :)

Hoje trago-vos um pequeno haul da wells. Fui lá há pouco tempo e consegui encontrar algumas coisinhas da essence e catrice em promoção. Claro que não resisti e tive que trazer algumas das coisas :)

Today I'll show you a little haul from Wells. I went there a while ago, and found some essence and catrice things on sale. Of course I didn't resist and bought some of them :)

Da essence trouxe um verniz na cor 122 - chic reloaded. É super giro! É roxo e tem brilhos de muitos tons, variando de cor consoante a luz. Estava em promoção por 1€.

From essence I bought a nail polish in the color 122 - chic reloaded. It's really beautiful! It's purple and has several shades sparkles, which change their colors according to the light. It was on sale, and it cost 1€.

Ainda da essence e também por 1€, comprei um baton na cor 64 - flirty pink. Como apaixonada dos batons que sou, não podia perder esta pechincha, e tenho imensa pena de não haver noutras cores.

From essence and for 1€ also, I bought a lipstick on the shade 64 - flirty pink. I really am sad that there weren't more shades at the shop, since I am a freak for lipsticks, moreover with this prices.

Da catrice, comprei 3 vernizes por 2€ cada um. Tinha lá várias cores, e eu escolhi 3 que considero serem óptimas para a estação Primavera/Verão. 

From catrice, I bought 3 nail polishes for 2€ each. There were several colors, and I chose 3 wich I think are great for Spring/Summer season.

O primeiro que escolhi foi o 240 - Sould Out For Ever. É um verde menta lindíssimo, super cremoso, e que cobre a unha perfeitamente com apenas uma camada.

The first I chose was number 240 - Sould Out For Ever. It's a gorgeous mint green, really creamy, which covers the nail perfectly with only a coat.

Escolhi também um laranja, o 03 - Papa Don't Peach. Devo confessar que acho o nome deste verniz super inteligente. Como o anterior, é super cremoso, no entanto são necessárias duas camadas para que a unha fique perfeitamente pintada.

I also chose an orange polish, number 03 - Papa Don't Peach. I must say that this polish name is really intelligent. This one is really creamy as the previous one, but it requires two coats, for the nail to be perfectly painted.

Por último comprei um azul, da edição limitada Coolibri. Este é o número C01 - Birds Flying High. Também é muito cremoso e basta uma camada para a unha ficar bem coberta.

Last, but not least, I bought a blue polish from the limited edition Coolibri. It's the shade C01 - Birds Flying High. This one is also really creamy and one coat is enough to cover the entire nail.

Nunca tinha experimentado nenhum verniz da catrice ou essence antes, e devo confessar que os adoro. Têm um pincel bastante grande, permitindo pintar a unha mais rapidamente e duram bastante tempo nas unhas (cerca de uma semana).

I never tried any polish from essence or catrice befora, and I must say I love them. They have a really nice brush, allowing you to paint your nail quicker, and they last a long time on the nails (about a week).

The Secret Bag

Olá :)

Hoje trago-vos um post sobre a The Secret Bag, do mês de Janeiro. Já vem um pouco atrasada, mas só há pouco tempo tive conhecimento da mesma e encomendei de imediato. A The Secret Bag é um saquinho com produtos, que nos são enviados por um preço de 15€, e que valem muito mais do que isso, portanto compensa bastante. Também é muito útil porque por vezes nos dá conhecimento de coisas que nunca iríamos experimentar por iniciativa própria.

A minha secret bag chegou muito rápido, sendo que a paguei na sexta-feira e na terça de manhã estava nas minhas mãos. Veio muito bem embalada e protegida.

Today I'm posting about The Secret Bag, from January. I know it's a little bit late already, but I only heard about this a while ago, and I immediately ordered it. The Secret Bag is a little bag with products inside, that they send to us, for a 15€ price, and that have a really higher comercial value. So this is a really great deal. I think that this is great because it allows you to try products that you wouldn't buy full price.

My The Secret Bag came home really quickly. I ordered it on Friday, and it arrived Tuesday. It came really well packed and protected.

A primeira coisa que vi foi um conjunto da Gatineau Paris, da gama Aquamemory. Traz 3 amostras de produtos: um creme hidratante com 15 ml, um sérum com 5 ml e uma máscara hidratante com 3 ml. São indicados para peles muitos secas, e têm um cheiro muito suave, mas muito agradável. Penso que vou guardar estas amostras para quando tiver que viajar, pois são muito fáceis de transportar.

The first thing I saw was a Gatineau Paris Aquamemory set. It has 3sample  products: a moisture replenish cream with 15 ml, a moisture replenish concentrate with 5 ml and a moisture replenish mask with 3 ml. They are indicated for dehydrated skin, and have a really soft but great smell. I think I might save this samples for when I have to travel, because they are really easy to transport.

O tema desta The Secret Bag era os olhos, e portanto os restantes produtos são mais dirigidos para maquilhagem ( e desmaquilhagem) de olhos. 

The theme of this The Secret Bag was the eyes, so the other products are more suitable for eye makeup (and removing makeup).

O produto que achei mais engraçado foram os discos de limpeza da Love The Planet. São discos para substituir os típicos discos de algodão que utilizamos para remover a maquilhagem. São laváveis na máquina e têm um valor comercial de 7.50€ (5 unidades). Já os utilizei e retiram muito bem toda a maquilhagem, para além do facto de serem extremamente suaves para a pele.

The product I liked the most were the Love The Planet cleansing pads. They are substitutes for the cotton wool pads we use to remove our makeup. They're washable, and cost 7.50€ (5 units). I've already used them, and they remove every bit of makeup really well, in addition to be very soft for my skin.

Recebi também uma máscara de pestanas: Être Belle Mascara Lash-xpress & hyaluronic. É uma máscara que é suposto alongar e dar volume às nossas pestanas, bem como imitar o efeito dos curvadores de pestanas. Contém ácido hialurónico, para deixar as pestanas mais macias e elásticas. Tem um valor comercial de 15.90€. Utilizei-a hoje, e de facto alonga e encurva as pestanas muito bem. Só não achei que desse muito volume às minhas pestanas.

I also got a mascara: Être Belle Mascara Lash-xpress & hyaluronic. This mascara is supposed to elongate and give volume to our lashes, as well as mimic the effect of the eyelash curlers. It has hyaluronic acid, to make your lashes softer and elastic. It costs 15.90€. I used it today, and it really elongates and gives volume. I just didn't think it gave volume to my lashes.

Por último, a minha bag trazia duas sombras. Na altura que comprei, tive que escolher entre azul e verde, e escolhi as verdes uma vez que já tenho muitas de tom azul. São da marca Kosmetic Kosmo, uma marca alemã. Recebi dois tons: um verde claro, de nome karibik e um verde escuro acinzentado, de nome schwarzwald. Cada uma tem 1,5 g e valor comercial de 4.99€. Já as utilizei hoje, e gostei bastante. São muito pigmentadas e aguentam bem na pálpebra, durante muitas horas.

Last but not least, my bag had 2 eyeshadows. When I bought it, I had to choose between blue and green, and I chose the greens ones, since I already have a lot of blue shadows. The are from a german brand, Kosmetic Kosmo. I got two shades: a light green, named Karibik and a dark greyish green, named scwharzwald. Each one has 1.5 g and costs 4.99€. I used them today, and I really liked them. They are very pigmented and last a long time on the eyelid.

Olá :)
Terminada mais uma semana, deixo convosco a música da semana, pelo menos a meu ver. Já oiço esta música há bastante tempo, e não consigo fartar-me dela nem por nada. Quando começa a dar, largo tudo só para a ouvir. É a música Royals, da cantora Lorde. Esta é natural da Nova Zelândia, e tem 17 anos. A música pertence ao álbum Pure Heroin, que é fantástico. Espero que gostem :)

Adicionei a página no facebook há uns tempos e desde então tenho visto sempre as coisinhas novas que a menina coloca à venda. Ela vende de tudo mesmo: roupa, acessórios, capas para telemóvel e tablet, coisinhas para as unhas, artigos para casa e animais, pens, calçado, ...

Today I’m going to tell you about a facebook store that I love: Loving Things.

I first saw this page a while ago and since then I’ve been watching everything that the owner puts online. She sells a little bit of everything: clothes, accessories, phone and tablet cases, stuff for your nails, house stuff, animal stuff, flash drives, shoes, …

Here’s how it works:

Há um tempo encomendei dois relógios, pois adoro e ela tem uns lindíssimos à venda. Demoraram cerca de 1 mês a chegar, mas valeu bem o tempo de espera, pois são exactamente iguais à imagem que ela tem e até agora sempre funcionaram perfeitamente. Ela é super querida e simpática, e esclarece qualquer dúvida que os clientes tenham. Outra coisa que me agradou na página dela, é que tem imensas fotos que os clientes enviam dos seus produtos (o que é óptimo para aumentar o meu nível de confiança em qualquer página). Ela tem tudo muito bem organizado, por pastas, o que facilita bastante a nossa pesquisa.

Estes são os relógios que encomendei:

A little while ago, I ordered two watches, because I love them and she has really beautiful watches on  her page.
It took about a month for them to come, but it was really worth it, because they are exactly what they look like in the pictures, and they work pretty well. 
She is really sweet and nice, and doesn’t let you have any doubts about anything. I also like her page, because she has pictures that her clients send to her with the products (wich is great to boost my trust level on the page). She has everything very well organized in different albums, which facilitates searching for what you want.

Encomendei um verde menta, da marca Geneva, por 8€. Estou apaixonada por ele, e é óptimo principalmente para Primavera/Verão.

I ordered one, in the colour mint green, it’s from Geneva, and it cost 8€. I’m in love with it, and it’s great for Spring/Summer season.

Encomendei ainda uma réplica Michael Kors, transparente, com um mostrador a imitar madrepérola. Não tinha nenhum transparente, e adoro porque posso usar com qualquer roupa. Este custou 18,50€.

I also ordered a Michael Kors replica, it is clear, with a mother pearl screen. I didn’t have any clear watch, and I love it because I can wear it with any outfit. This one cost 18,50€.
